A way of worship……!!!!

A true seeker must perform the ordained action,
which is performance of yagya,
a way of worship,
in which the incoming and outgoing life-breaths
are
offered to God as oblation and the outward-looking senses
are burnt out in the fire of self-restraint,
and whose final outcome is the attainment of God.

The true meaning of action is worship.

The outcome of this action is oneness with the eternal God, supreme goal:
the state of total actionlessness.

Attainment of actionlessness, is strengthening the divine impulses within.

This is how one may traverse upon
the
“Path of Self Realization.”

“I make obeisance to the eternal preceptor(Guru) in the form of Lord Shankara who is all wisdom, and resting on whose brow, the crescent moon, though crooked in shape,is universally adored.”…. Says Tulsidas in Ramcharit Manas.

The verses above are what most revered Adi Shankara had experienced
at the end of his eternal journey
while traversing upon the

A seeker must strengthen and augment divine impulses in the heart….!!!

A seeker must strengthen and augment divine impulses in the heart.

The more virtues there are cultivated and garnered in the heart, the more the worshiper advances towards the ultimate excellence until he/she at last attains it.

The novice worshiper’s worship is thus aimed at strengthening the forces of righteousness in heart.

Mutual helps with sacred feelings, spiritual vision and selfless motives help a lot in achieving the  ultimate destination
while traversing upon
the
“Path of Self Realization.”

I am immersed in that one great bliss which transcends all pleasure and pain….!!!

O SADHU! the simple union is the best. Since the day when I met with my Lord, there has been no end to the sport of our love.

I shut not my eyes, I close not my ears, I do not mortify my body;
I see with eyes open and smile, and behold His beauty everywhere:
I utter His Name, and whatever I see, it reminds me of Him; whatever I do., it becomes His worship.

The rising and the setting are one to me; all contradictions are solved.

Wherever I go, I move round Him,
All I achieve is His service:
When I lie down, I lie prostrate at His feet.
He is the only adorable one to me: I have none other.

My tongue has left off impure words, it sings His glory day and night:
Whether I rise or sit down, I can never forget Him; for the rhythm of His music beats in my ears.
Kabîr says: “My heart is frenzied, and I disclose in my soul what is hidden. I am immersed in that one great bliss which transcends all pleasure and pain.”

-Kabir-

Death of a mind…!!!

Restraint of desire and will is a victory of the mind.We have to execute the ordained action that elevates the mind above desire and will.

A well-commenced action gradually becomes so refined and sublimated that it takes the mind above will as well as irresolution and then, with the burning out of even the last desire which he/she does not know but which he/she was previously eager to know, the worshipper is blessed with direct perception of God.

Direct knowledge of God by following the path of action is called knowledge (gyan): the sacred knowledge that enables the Soul to be united with the Supreme Spirit.

The fire of this direct perception of God annihilates action for ever.

What was sought has been achieved. There is nothing beyond it to quest for. Who is there beyond God to search for with further endeavour? So with the attainment of this wisdom, the need for action comes to an end.

This is the final destination
where leads
the
“Path of Self Realization”
